Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is right around the corner and it is a great start to the holiday season. I love the idea of a full table surrounded by family and friends sharing food, memories and good times. A good friend of mine called me last year to help her put together a warm and inviting holiday look for her home. Here are some ideas for your holiday cheer.

Start outside. Little touches add to your home and can be enjoyed by your neighbors as well!

Add some food to your décor! This fresh style is sure to welcome all your guests.

Linens are always an elegant way to incorporate the season and transform any table.


When you are making your plans for this thanksgiving think about the little touches that you can incorporate. Fresh flowers and greenery add a wonderful look and fragrance to your home.

Last week was wonderful at the Saks Fifth Avenue KEY TO THE CURE event. While the weather was not informed that the rain needed to stop, we still saw more then a few brave the chills to join us for this kick off event.

Meet Our 'Ladies'

This week we are designing with one of our favorite mediums…our mannequins!!!

On Thursday we will be at Saks Fifth Avenue fashionably accented with florals so come and see us! Saks Fifth Avenue Chevy Chase will kick off KEY TO THE CURE tomorrow Thursday, October 15th at 6:00p.m. with a shopping party extravaganza, including cocktails, food, entertainment and special activities benefiting Suburban Hospital Breast Programs.

Be sure to break out your cash, credit cards and checkbooks!

The first time we designed our ‘girls’ was for a delightful Juicy Couture Mitzvah. Each table featured a different ‘girl’ with a different fashionable floral design. ALL of them were a pink dream. We were even lucky enough to receive recognition from Special Events Magazine with a Gala Awards for Best Table Design win this past January.

Pink, fashion and flowers are a wonderful combination and we are so excited to turn our ‘girls’ into ‘ladies’ for this event. We hope to see you there so you can experience our ‘ladies’ firsthand.

Since the original event we have had the opportunity to accent our designs with fashion, accessories and even candy! We look forward to seeing what else we can dream up for the next event. Maybe it will be yours?!?!
